  • Skilled Worker (Independent Application)

If your occupation is one of the occupations listed here, you may be able to immigrate to Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker program. If you have an offer of employment in your profession from a Canadian employer, you may qualify to immigrate to Canada under the Arranged Employment Category.   • Visitor visa

 

Any person can visit Canada either for tourism or for business purposes. People who intend to visit Canada must apply for a visitor visa to the Canadian embassy /high commission closest to you. If he applicants are successful, they will receive a Temporary Resident Visa that will allow them to come to Canada. Citizens of Some countries are exempted from applying for a visitor visa before they come to Canada. Visitor visa can be issued up to a maximum of six months and with a possibility of extension if there is a valid reason to extend the visit.   • Canadian Experience Class

 

The government of Canada introduced a new immigration category effective September 17/2008 that will allow people to apply for a Permanent Resident of Canada. According to the CEC category, one can apply for a Permanent Resident status if he/she are currently is either a temporary foreign worker with at least two years of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada or a foreign graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution with at least one year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada.

Applicants under the CEC must speak one of the two official languages of Canada at acceptable manner.

Applicants can apply either from within Canada or within one year after leaving their employment in Canada.
